Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keyboard Attacker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chael Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen misses with a lunging right hand
and Attacker counters with a series of strikes. Sonnen will be more careful next time no doubt.
Attacker rushes Sonnen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Attacker wants a takedown but no success here.
Sonnen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Attacker has him pressed against the cage.
Sonnen has had enough of the clinch but Attacker keeps him there for the moment.
Sonnen can't break the clinch.
Sonnen has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Attacker after a bit of a struggle.
Sonnen gets through Attacker's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

A frustrated look appears on Attacker's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Chael Sonnen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Attacker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sonnen throws a right hand that Attacker ducks under and follows up with a left that Attacker also avoids with ease.

Sonnen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sonnen lands in his opponent's guard.
Attacker manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Attacker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sonnen is fending him off so far but Attacker persists. Nope, Sonnen circles away and we're back to standing.

Sonnen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sonnen shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Attacker manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Sonnen wants to stand but Attacker has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Keyboard Attacker just wasn't active enough.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sonnen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Attacker shoots in for a takedown but Sonnen shows good takedown defense.

Sonnen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
