Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zane Peltier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy Westside (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Peltier might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rockstar-Chamillionaire. Zane Peltier has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westside throws a low kick but it's checked well by Peltier.

Peltier drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Peltier with a nice head shot there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Peltier throws a strike but Westside rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peltier is striking from the bottom but Westside uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.

Westside got a little sloppy there for a moment and Peltier has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Westside has managed to get both his arms back between Peltier's legs - danger averted.
Westside wants to stand and escape but instead Peltier has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Peltier wants to control from the top but Westside keeps moving.
Peltier might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Peltier working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Westside's head.
Westside is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Peltier is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Westside is just riding it out for now. Peltier eventually gives up the hold.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Nice takedown defense from Westside. No joy for Peltier on that attempt.

Westside paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Peltier gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Westside.
Westside takes a swing at Peltier's ribcage but misses.

Westside takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Westside throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Westside bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Peltier changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Westside looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Zane Peltier decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
