Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ambrosio Cagao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salomon Ibrahimovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cagao getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
It looks like Salomon Ibrahimovich has been cut.
Cagao fails to land the takedown.
Cagao scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ibrahimovich is looking to regain half guard here but Cagao keeps moving and retains side control.
Cagao stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Cagao manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ibrahimovich on his heels. He'll look to pass Ibrahimovich's guard now, I'm sure.

Cagao has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cagao in particular looking to stall.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Cagao pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ibrahimovich is out of range and Cagao settles back down.

Ibrahimovich avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cagao fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cagao tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ibrahimovich paws at him with a jab and circles away.
No luck for Ibrahimovich with that takedown attempt.
Cagao keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ibrahimovich dives in and grabs Cagao's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cagao pushes down on Ibrahimovich's head and hops out.
Ambrosio Cagao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Salomon Ibrahimovich.
Cagao shoots for a double leg takedown but Ibrahimovich sprawls well. He's pushed Cagao's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Cagao shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ibrahimovich is trying to defend but Cagao finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Cagao looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Cagao lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Cagao is nestled in close to Ibrahimovich, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
