Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franco Colombo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Boorg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colombo wants to clinch up but Boorg keeps it at a distance.

Boorg takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Boorg has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Colombo is trying to keep an underhook but Boorg manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boorg closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Colombo did well to prevent Boorg getting side control.

Boorg cracks Colombo with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Boorg is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Colombo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boorg is taking a breather. Colombo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
