Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hiro Nohara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyros Sisyphus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiro Nohara! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kyros Sisyphus! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sisyphus shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nohara sprawls well. Nohara wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sisyphus gets slowly back to his feet. Sisyphus on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Nohara. Nohara obviously looking to wear him down.
Nohara moves into range and connects with a jab. Sisyphus tries for a takedown but Nohara circles away easily and Nohara counters with a lovely shot to the body. Kyros Sisyphus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No luck for Sisyphus with that takedown attempt. Hiro Nohara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyros Sisyphus. Nohara stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nohara wants it to stay on the feet. Nohara connects with a leg kick. Sisyphus looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Good leg kick by Nohara there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Nohara lands a nice looking body shot.
Nohara listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sisyphus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nohara sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sisyphus somewhat. Nohara defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sisyphus. Sisyphus shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sisyphus showed some decent athleticism there. Nohara is trying to maintain the position but Sisyphus is very close to passing his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nohara is concentrating on defense, preventing Sisyphus from advancing position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are battling for position here. Nohara manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Sisyphus thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Nohara bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sisyphus's guard. Nohara has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Nohara scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Nohara trying to control but Sisyphus is working from the bottom. Nohara won't allow Sisyphus to sweep him here. Nohara slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sisyphus trying to keep a closed guard but Nohara is proving a slippery customer.
Nohara controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Nohara wants to control from the top but Sisyphus keeps moving.
Hiro Nohara has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Nohara dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nohara lands a right hook to the body.
Nohara scores with a hook to the body. Sisyphus takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Sisyphus dives in and grabs Nohara's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nohara pushes down on Sisyphus's head and hops out. Nohara connects with a jab. Sisyphus takes a body punch but keeps moving. Nohara fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Sisyphus has his takedown stuffed and Nohara counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sisyphus's knee momentarily. Nohara lands a slapping body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nohara feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sisyphuss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Nohara lands a nice shot to the body.
Sisyphus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nohara but Nohara pushes him off and we're back to square one. Sisyphus looks winded! Nohara jabs Sisyphus right on the nose. Sisyphus blinks but takes it well. Nohara lands a nice shot that snaps Sisyphus's head back.
Sisyphus's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Nohara connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sisyphus scrambles back to his feet. Sisyphus takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Sisyphus is rocked! Sisyphus closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Sisyphus is still on wobbly legs! Can Nohara finish him? This has been an exciting period of action! Crack! Nohara connects with the perfect overhand right and Sisyphus falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Nohara!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hiro Nohara! During a confident post fight interview, Hiro Nohara thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
