Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeremy Coleman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Drederick Tatum! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tatum misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tatum drives through and clinches with Coleman against the cage.
Tatum trying to control the position but instead, Coleman has worked for underhooks and has pushed Tatum into the cage. Tatum stops a takedown attempt from Coleman.

Coleman has Tatum pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Tatum manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeremy Coleman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Coleman is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Tatum gets underhooks to prevent Coleman's takedown attempt.
Tatum lands with a short shot to the head. Tatum lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Coleman is trying to drag Tatum to the mat but Tatum just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Tatum is trying to push Coleman away but Coleman has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Tatum lands a left hand.
Tatum lands an uppercut. Tatum lands a right hand. Coleman drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tatum gets the underhooks and prevents it.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Tatum takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tatum fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Jeremy Coleman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Coleman shoots for a double leg takedown but Tatum sprawls well. He's pushed Coleman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tatum rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Coleman moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Coleman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tatum pinned against the cage. Tatum gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Coleman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tatum defends it nicely. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Coleman takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Tatum lands a glancing blow to the side of Coleman's head. Coleman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tatum as he avoids it easily. Tatum stuns Coleman with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Tatum scores with a sloppy right hand. Coleman should have avoided that one. Coleman walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Tatum moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coleman throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tatum tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Coleman is in Tatum's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Coleman is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Tatum should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Coleman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Coleman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Coleman drops back looking for a leg! Tatum is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tatum manages to kick Coleman off! Coleman jumps back into Tatum's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Coleman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coleman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tatum is keeping the position for now. Coleman drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Coleman seems to have locked his on tight now - Tatum screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Coleman, as he picks up the win!
