Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Greg Gone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Tompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommy Tompson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

That was a close round but I would say that Greg Gone will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Gone changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tompson tries to avoid it but Gone manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tompson to the ground. Tompson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Gone is looking to work some ground and pound but Tompson has wrist control.

Tompson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gone stands and throws Tompson's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Gone is working to tighten is grip on Tompson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Tompson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Gone is really squeezing tight and eventually Tompson passes out! Gone breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
