Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arttu Mahtisaari!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahtisaari lands with a shot to the body.
Backscratcher gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Mahtisaari scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Arttu Mahtisaari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Backscratcher drops his hands momentarily and Mahtisaari takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

and Backscratcher counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mahtisaari thinking.
Mahtisaari slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Backscratcher lands a nice shot that snaps Mahtisaari's head back.

Mahtisaari clinches up with Backscratcher and pushes him back against the cage.
Backscratcher tries to break the clinch but Mahtisaari is controlling the position.

Mahtisaari jumps guard but Backscratcher stands there with Mahtisaari around his waist. Mahtisaari gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Brian Backscratcher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arttu Mahtisaari.
Mahtisaari is pushing Backscratcher up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Mahtisaari receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
Mahtisaari lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee calls for Mahtisaari to work.
Backscratcher wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Arttu Mahtisaari dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Backscratcher uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Mahtisaari has time to react.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Backscratcher throws a low kick, looking for Mahtisaari's leg but Mahtisaari calmly moves out of range.
Mahtisaari is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Backscratcher.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Mahtisaari in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
Backscratcher misses with a wild body shot.

Backscratcher lands a big uppercut and Mahtisaari crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mahtisaari looks OK. Backscratcher waves Mahtisaari back to his feet!

Mahtisaari get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Mahtisaari stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Backscratcher runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brian Backscratcher!
Brian Backscratcher decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
