Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Baxter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Anastasio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anastasio has chosen Tweezer as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryan Baxter! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trey Anastasio! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anastasio closes the distance but Baxter moves to the side and Baxter counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Baxter throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Anastasio stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Anastasio shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Baxter pinned against the cage. Baxter gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Baxter fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Baxter connects with the punch.
It looks like Trey Anastasio has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Crunch! Baxter slams his shin into Anastasio's torso. Anastasio looks winded! Anastasio tries to clinch but Baxter moves out of range. Baxter defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Anastasio. Anastasio on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Baxter cracks Anastasio with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Anastasio looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Baxter finish him?
Anastasio blocks a head kick by Baxter.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anastasio drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Anastasio walks straight into a right hand from Baxter - that's dropped him! Baxter jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Anastasio from any more punishment! Anastasio complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
