Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jensen Dayley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AJ Orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jensen Dayley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, AJ Orton! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orton tries to clinch up and Orton takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Orton tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dayley swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dayley is looking to clinch. Dayley lands with a kick to the temple. Orton shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Dayley blocks a head kick by Orton.
Orton feints and as Dayley raises his hands in defense, Orton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Orton slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Dayley working a defensive guard here.
Orton stands up from Dayley's guard - Orton perhaps looking for a knockout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dayley plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
That's one minute gone in the round. Dayley gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Dayley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Orton slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Orton is looking to work some ground and pound but Dayley has wrist control. Orton has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dayley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Orton is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Dayley controls Orton momentarily but Orton frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jensen Dayley has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Dayley throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Orton. Orton looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dayley! Orton takes a little break here. Dayley wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dayley is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dayley looking for a sweep but Orton has passed into full mount! Oh no! Dayley has given up his back here.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Orton sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Dayley taps out!
