Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Drew Pashik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre The Giant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pashik misses with a two punch combination.
The Giant is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The Giant showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pashik.

and Pashik cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Pashik counters with a left and a right that stings The Giant.

The Giant looks to score with a jab to the body but Pashik is just out of range.

Pashik takes a shot right to the bread basket.
The Giant seems to have recovered his senses.
The Giant doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Pashik counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Drew Pashik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre The Giant.
The Giant tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pashik swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Pashik throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The Giant connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pashik's hands.

The Giant jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pashik walks away with a smile on his face. The Giant gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Pashik misses with a series of wild punches.
Drew Pashik is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The Giant misses with a takedown attempt
and Pashik counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for The Giant!
The Giant looks winded!
This has been an exciting period of action!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Pashik taking a breather here.
The Giant tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pashik wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Pashik decides to stand up, so the ref orders The Giant to his feet.

The Giant has his takedown stuffed
and Pashik counters with a head kick that drops The Giant to the mat! The Giant scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The Giant throws a body punch but Pashik moves out of range.
Pashik looks to score with a jab to the body but The Giant is just out of range.
The Giant shoots and misses
and Pashik counters with a series of strikes that really hurt The Giant! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
