The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gertje but Gertje pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A slapping leg kick lands for Santos.
Gertje lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Santos circles away quickly and effectively.
Santos is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Santos lands a nice hook to Gertje's body. Gertje takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
