Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Balaba wants to clinch but Wade slips to the side
and Wade decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Balaba's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Wade wants to pass the guard but Balaba is keeping the position.
Wade works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Wade is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Balaba is just riding it out for now. Wade eventually gives up the hold.
Wade is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Wade has eaten all the pies!
Wade is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Balaba moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Balaba looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Wade is defending well. Balaba quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Wade has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Balaba celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
