Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Reynolds! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Reed Andrews and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reynolds shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Reynolds showed some decent athleticism there. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Brenner is trying to stand up here but Reynolds is controlling him well. The fighters are battling for position here. Brenner manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Reynolds pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Brenner is keeping the position for now. Reynolds throws a big elbow that misses. Reynolds advances to half guard. Brenner has a hand on Reynolds's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Reynolds takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Brenner tries to hold on but Reynolds postures up. Brenner is looking to improve his position but Reynolds isn't that keen on the idea. Brenner is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Reynolds postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Brenner looks a forlorn figure.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Reynolds cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Brenner tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Reynolds manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Reynolds shoots in and gets a takedown into Brenner's guard. Reynolds drops back looking for a leg! Brenner is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brenner manages to kick Reynolds off! Reynolds jumps back into Brenner's guard. Brenner throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Reynolds can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brenner controls the pace.

Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Yul Brenner. Well Reynolds has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
