Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jet Nicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Cobra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jet Nicks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roger Cobra! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nicks shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Nicks wants to stand up but Cobra is controlling the position.
Cobra has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nicks is working away from the top position though. Cobra is pressing down on Nicks's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Nicks wants to stand and escape but instead Cobra has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Cobra drops back looking for a leg! Nicks is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nicks manages to kick Cobra off! Cobra jumps back into Nicks's guard. Cobra passes Nicks's left leg - he's now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cobra working Nicks over with strikes. Nicks wants to control but Cobra is keeping busy.
Nicks is looking to improve his position.
Cobra with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Cobra wants to control but Nicks is keeping him busy. Cobra slows the pace down in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Cobra shoots in for a double leg but Nicks sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Nicks is looking to clinch. Nicks wants to clinch. Cobra takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
It looks like Roger Cobra has been cut. Nicks throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cobra was covering up waiting for the punch and Nicks finishes the takedown easily into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Cobra is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nicks is aware though and is defending well. Nicks tries to stand but Cobra is controlling from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cobra is looking for a triangle but Nicks pushes his legs off easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Cobra working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nicks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nicks manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Cobra looks winded! Nicks wants to stand but Cobra has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Cobra looking to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Nicks trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Cobra manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Nicks keeping moving, preventing Cobra from controlling successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cobra wants to stand but Nicks has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Cobra sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nicks's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roger Cobra dominated that round. The cut man is working on Roger Cobra's cut. That's time! Nicks's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Nicks scores with a takedown into Cobra's guard. Nicks has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Nicks wants to stand but Cobra is controlling his posture from full guard. Cobra has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Nicks has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cobra is proving hard to escape from.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nicks tries to free his leg and advance position but Cobra is retaining full guard. Nicks wants to stand but Cobra has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Cobra has Nicks pulled in close to control his posture.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nicks misses with a kick to the body.
Nicks tried to score with a low kick but Cobra checks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nicks shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cobra napping and manages to drive through into side control! Cobra is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Nicks is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Roger Cobra has got the better of the ground game so far. Cobra wants to control but Nicks is keeping busy.
Cobra is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Nicks is tapping! Great win for Cobra!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Roger Cobra! After the fight, Roger Cobra was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
