The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Oliveira as Pilik shoots in.
Oliveira looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Oliveira displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pilik.

Pilik's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Pilik gets control of Oliveira's arms and successfully pulls guard. Pilik will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Oliveira got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pilik has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Oliveira has managed to get both his arms back between Pilik's legs - danger averted.

Pilik changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Oliveira tries to avoid it but Pilik manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Oliveira to the ground. Oliveira escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Oliveira shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pilik as he avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown by Pilik or perhaps it was just good defense by Oliveira which made him look bad.
Pilik will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Pilik has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Well Pilik has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
