Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dat Suk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Better Muller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
18 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Better Muller!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muller lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Dat Suk has been cut.
Muller jabs Suk right on the nose. Suk blinks but takes it well.
Muller shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Muller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Muller creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Muller in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Muller is putting a hurting on Suk here, landing some big shots from side control.
Muller has an Americana. Suk didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Muller is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Muller hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Better Muller!
