Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Dux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gilbert Yvel!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yvel checks a low kick from Dux.
Yvel swings for the body but Dux moves out of range.
Dux looks to land a body kick but Yvel moved away.
Yvel lands a really nice looking cross but Dux seems unphased.
Yvel should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Yvel stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dux.
Yvel throws a body kick that misses
and Dux makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Yvel really felt that one!
Yvel looks winded!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dux takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Dux fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Dux! This one is all over!
