Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rickson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen system of a down - violent pornography as his entrance music. Jon Snow has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

26 - 22 - 2, fighting out of New York, Rickson Silva!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rickson Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva thows a body shot but no joy.

Silva changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Snow looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
You can see the frustration on Snow's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Snow looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Silva puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Jon Snow will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Silva throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Silva misses with a looping right.
Silva throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Snow sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Silva might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Snow slips under a jab.

Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Snow moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Silva throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Snow on the side of the head.
