The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peri fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Poletto avoids it really well and circles away.

Poletto got a little sloppy there for a moment and Peri has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Poletto has managed to get both his arms back between Peri's legs - danger averted.
Poletto has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Peri is proving hard to escape from.
Peri has his foot on Poletto's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Poletto works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
