Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sylvio Marques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marley Piculek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marques changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Piculek tries to avoid it but Marques manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Piculek to the ground. Piculek escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Piculek shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Marques sprawls well. Marques wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Piculek gets slowly back to his feet.

Marques is trying to pull guard but Piculek has him pressed against the cage.

Marques is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Piculek pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Piculek is trying to break the clinch but Marques has him pressed against the cage.
Piculek has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Marques is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Marques throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Piculek's waist but Piculek gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Marques off to one side.

Marques closes the distance and clinches up with Piculek, looking for a takedown. Marques pushes Piculek against the cage but Piculek circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Piculek or perhaps it was just good defense by Marques which made him look bad.

Marques shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Piculek as he avoids it easily.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Marques has closed the distance and engaged Piculek in a clinch.
Piculek is pressed up against the cage. Marques has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Piculek down to the mat. Piculek avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
