Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Jigster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muhammad Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jigster kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is american idiot . Ali has chosen Rocky as his entrance music. Muhammad Ali will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jigster shoots in and gets a takedown into Ali's guard.
Jigster trying to control the position from guard on top but Ali is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jigster passes Ali's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Jigster decides to stand up.
Jigster throws a nice inside leg kick.
Jigster gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ali.
Jigster is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jigster shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ali pinned against the cage. Ali gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Jigster changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ali tries to avoid it but Jigster manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ali to the ground. Ali escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A head kick misses from Jigster.
Jigster tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ali throws a series of punches but Jigster avoids them all with ease.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ali tried to score with a low kick but Jigster checks it.
No joy there for Ali, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ali darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Jigster changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ali tries to avoid it but Jigster manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ali to the ground. Ali escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Jigster. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ali stuffs the takedown attempt from Jigster. Jigster gets slowly back to his feet.
Jigster shoots for a takedown but Ali saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ali scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jigster doesn't seem bothered though.

Jigster is breathing heavily.
Ali fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

and Ali counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Ali closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

OH! Jigster has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Ali smells blood and charges in for the finish! Ali unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Jigster sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Muhammad Ali!
Muhammad Ali was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
