Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carlos The Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos The Cannon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Emelianenko! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emelianenko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but The Cannon moves out of range and avoids them all easily. The Cannon shoots in but Emelianenko avoids the takedown attempt easily. The Cannon misses the shot to the body. A head kick misses from Emelianenko. Emelianenko shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. The Cannon feints and as Emelianenko raises his hands in defense, The Cannon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. The Cannon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Emelianenko is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Emelianenko has momentary wrist control but The Cannon slips an elbow through the middle. The Cannon is pushing down on Emelianenko's leg trying to pass to half guard. Emelianenko is fighting to maintain full guard but The Cannon has managed to sneak the leg through. The Cannon scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Emelianenko pushes The Cannon off looking to stand but The Cannon dives back in and keeps control.
Emelianenko is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of The Cannon's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take The Cannon's back! The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Emelianenko's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
That's one minute gone in the round. Emelianenko throwing sloppy strikes. Emelianenko throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. The Cannon is trying to break free.
The Cannon holding both Emelianenko 's hands and preventing any damage. The Cannon is keeping busy.
Emelianenko not allowing The Cannon to control his hands. The Cannon looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Cannon tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! The Cannon is hanging on here. He's in a desperate position. The Cannon wants to try and get back to his feet. The Cannon is looking to improve his position but Emelianenko isn't that keen on the idea. Emelianenko avoids the attempt from The Cannon to control. Emelianenko tries to control but The Cannon wriggling away. The Cannon regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Cannon wants to get back to his feet. The Cannon won't allow Emelianenko to pass to mount. The Cannon wants to get back to his feet. The Cannon trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. The Cannon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The Cannon wants to get back to his feet. The Cannon is trying to control but can't.
Emelianenko wants to free his trapped foot but The Cannon is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Cannon wants to get back to his feet.
Emelianenko wants to pass to mount but The Cannon is defending the position. The Cannon wants to get back to full guard. Emelianenko prevents The Cannon from standing back up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Emelianenko working the head and body with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos The Cannon dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Emelianenko clinches up with The Cannon and pushes him back against the cage. The Cannon is looking for a takedown. Emelianenko stalling in the clinch but The Cannon improves position. The Cannon goes for a takedown attempt but Emelianenko pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
The Cannon misses with a looping left. Emelianenko tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. The Cannon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. The Cannon looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The Cannon working over Emelianenko with some ground and pound. Emelianenko looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Emelianenko tries to get to full guard but The Cannon has control of the leg. The Cannon lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Emelianenko wants to control but The Cannon is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Cannon winds up and cracks Emelianenko with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The Cannon is keen to just control but Emelianenko is a slippery customer. Emelianenko keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Emelianenko is not content to let The Cannon control the position. The Cannon working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The Cannon moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Emelianenko. The Cannon scoring with punches and elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Cannon creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Emelianenko is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Emelianenko is trying to buck The Cannon off. The Cannon landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Emelianenko is still in real trouble! Can The Cannon finish him? The Cannon landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Carlos The Cannon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Check out the look on The Cannon's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The crowd goes nuts as The Cannon knocks Emelianenko out cold with a massive hammerfist! The Cannon Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
