Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fred Mason!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donald Diaz scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Mason tries to roll over but Donald Diaz keeps him under control.
Donald Diaz throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Donald Diaz is pressing down on Mason's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mason is holding on for now.
Donald Diaz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mason with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Mason moves into full guard.
Donald Diaz prevents Mason from getting back to his feet.
Donald Diaz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Donald Diaz distracts Mason with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Mason looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mason really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Donald Diaz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mason throws his legs up looking for a submission but Donald Diaz uses it to pass to side control.

Mason takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Donald Diaz advances nicely into full mount.
Mason is working to get back to half guard.
Donald Diaz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Donald Diaz lands a big shot there that rocks Mason but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
