Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Max Super!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Franklyn Lucas and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown keeps the fight on the outside.
Super fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Super throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Super has Brown up against the cage in a clinch.
Brown gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Super regains guard.
Brown has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Brown works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Brown is working for a kimura but Super is defending it quite comfortably.
Brown stands up and beckons Super to join him on the feet.
Super gets caught napping as Brown dives in and scores a takedown. Super manages to retain guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Super is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Brown trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Super manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Brown wants to sweep but no luck.

Super working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Super missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Super in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Super trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Super drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brown looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brown looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brown!
Super tries to bench press Brown off him but Brown keeps the position.
Brown has hold of Super's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Super tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Brown cranks the arm and Super screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Super, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). James Brown!
