Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Crawford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Schmeyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Adrian Crawford! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dylan Schmeyer! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Crawford. Those never looked like landing. Schmeyer jabs Crawford to the body, keeping him at a distance. Schmeyer drops Crawford with a right and a left! Schmeyer comes rushing in but Crawford regains his composure and manages to keep Schmeyer in guard.
Crawford is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Schmeyer would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Oh Crawford is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Schmeyer wants to stand and escape but instead Crawford has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Schmeyer wants to stand up but Crawford is controlling him. Crawford seems to have got his legs back now. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Crawford trying to control the position from guard on top but Schmeyer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Schmeyer is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Crawford is controlling him. Crawford works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crawford wants to lay and pray for a moment but Schmeyer keeps working. Crawford is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Schmeyer is just riding it out for now. Crawford eventually gives up the hold. Crawford prevents Schmeyer from standing back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Adrian Crawford wasn't doing enough on the ground. Crawford closes the distance looking to clinch and Schmeyer counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Crawford tries to break the clinch but Schmeyer is controlling the position. Schmeyer manages to break the clinch.
Left hook, right uppercut from Schmeyer. Crawford falls off balance throwing a combination
and Schmeyer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Crawford throws a right and a left that both miss. Crawford is breathing heavily. Crawford swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Schmeyer counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Crawford dodges the punch combination from Schmeyer.

Schmeyer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Crawford is defended easily by Schmeyer. Schmeyer throws a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schmeyer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Crawford looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Schmeyer jabs Crawford to the body, keeping him at a distance. Schmeyer stalks Crawford and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Crawford's face. Crawford staggers backwards, shaken. Schmeyer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Schmeyer throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Schmeyer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Crawford looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Schmeyer grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Crawford takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Schmeyer cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dylan Schmeyer!
