The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Crawford. Those never looked like landing.
Schmeyer jabs Crawford to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Schmeyer drops Crawford with a right and a left! Schmeyer comes rushing in but Crawford regains his composure and manages to keep Schmeyer in guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Schmeyer would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Schmeyer wants to stand and escape but instead Crawford has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Schmeyer stalks Crawford and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Crawford's face. Crawford staggers backwards, shaken.
Schmeyer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Schmeyer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Crawford looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Schmeyer grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Crawford takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Schmeyer cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
