Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alan Kolodin!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kolodin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nogueira misses with a lunging right hand
and Kolodin counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Nogueira tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kolodin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nogueira checks a leg kick nicely.

letting Kolodin counter with a right hand.

and Kolodin counters with a shoot takedown. Nogueira fights it but they end up in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Kolodin passes Nogueira's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Nogueira is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kolodin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Nogueira defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nogueira knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kolodin on the ground.
Kolodin winds up and cracks Nogueira with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kolodin in particular looking to stall.

Kolodin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Nogueira defends it well.

Kolodin looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Kolodin cracks Nogueira with a big elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nogueira is pushing Kolodin's head away, looking to escape. Kolodin manages to hold on to the position though.

Kolodin is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Nogueira is trying to escape and Kolodin transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Nogueira is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kolodin! Very nice indeed!
