Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vasily Zaytsev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zaytsev comes into the arena with Katyusha blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Murray bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Zaytsev throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Zaytsev dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Murray. That did some damage!
Murray tries to clinch but Zaytsev is having none of it.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Zaytsev.

Murray on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Zaytsev circles away from the clinch attempt.
Murray misses with the combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zaytsev stuns Murray with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Zaytsev misses with a double jab.
Murray fails with an attempt to clinch.
Zaytsev fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Murray has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Murray moves in looking to clinch but Zaytsev pushes him off.
Zaytsev throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Zaytsev lands a two punch combo.
Zaytsev lands a body shot.
A chopping leg kick lands by Zaytsev.
Good standup being displayed there by Zaytsev as he connects with a hook.
Vasily Zaytsev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Murray is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zaytsev.
Murray takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The crowd cheers as Zaytsev lands an impressive looking overhand right. Murray doesn't seem phased though.
Zaytsev misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Zaytsev takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Zaytsev scores with a jab.
Zaytsev drops Murray with a beautiful combination! Murray stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Zaytsev is looking for the KO!
Murray is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zaytsev punishes Murray's body with a nice straight punch.
Murray is still on wobbly legs! Can Zaytsev finish him?
Zaytsev feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Murray sprawling to the canvas! Murray rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Zaytsev finish him?!
BOOM! Zaytsev lands a beautiful left hook that drops Murray. Murray tries to recover but Zaytsev is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Murray lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vasily Zaytsev!
A relieved looking Vasily Zaytsev thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
