The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Stone counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Henry Ball has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Ball throws a shot from downtown. Stone moves away and avoids it.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Ball has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Stone finds it's way round the side to connect with Ball's head.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Ball shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stone as he avoids it easily.

Ball misses with a straight left.
Ball dives in and grabs Stone's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stone pushes down on Ball's head and hops out.
Ball leaves Stone with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ball throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ball looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stone is fending him off so far but Ball persists. Nope, Stone circles away and we're back to standing.
Dimitri Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Ball.
Stone stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stone wants it to stay on the feet.

Ball shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ball showed some decent athleticism there.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dimitri Stone will probably get the nod.
