Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sauli Heilimo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jansen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Heilimo looking to control.
Heilimo looking for a sweep. Not yet Heilimo, not yet.
Heilimo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jansen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jansen drops back looking for a leg! Heilimo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Heilimo manages to kick Jansen off! Jansen jumps back into Heilimo's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jansen is in close to Heilimo's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Jansen drops back looking for a leg! Heilimo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Heilimo manages to kick Jansen off! Jansen jumps back into Heilimo's guard.

Heilimo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Heilimo tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Jansen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Heilimo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Heilimo isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jansen stacks Heilimo on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jansen!
Jansen stands up.
Heilimo fails with the takedown
and Jansen counters with a single leg into guard. Heilimo didn't expect that.
Jansen is looking to stand up but Heilimo won't let him.

Heilimo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jansen!
Jansen looks gassed!
Heilimo cracks Jansen with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Jansen is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Heilimo trying to control but Jansen is having none of it.
Jansen is trying to escape the mount.
Jansen is bucking up trying to escape but Heilimo cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jansen sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Jansen wants to control but Heilimo is keeping busy.
Jansen wants to improve his position but Heilimo is controlling well.
Heilimo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jansen is just riding it out for now. Heilimo eventually gives up the hold.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jansen is in trouble now - Heilimo has advanced to mount!
Heilimo looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Jansen is wriggling around trying to escape.
Jansen wants to hold on but Heilimo pushes him away.
Heilimo has hold of Jansen's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jansen manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Jansen is desperately trying to improve his position but Heilimo has a good base and remains in mount.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Heilimo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jansen to the mat! Jansen manages to get full guard.
Jansen has his foot on Heilimo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Heilimo works his way back into a safe position though.
Heilimo stands and throws Jansen's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Heilimo decides to stand back up. Heilimo steps back and let's Jansen get back to his feet.

so Jansen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Heilimo had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jansen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Heilimo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jansen's back instead.
Heilimo doesn't have the hooks in and Jansen manages to turn into his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Heilimo throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Jansen escapes and throws Heilimo's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jansen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Heilimo is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Jansen defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Heilimo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jansen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Heilimo has Jansen in his guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sauli Heilimo will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
