Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blake Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dag Gustave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gustave.
Parker tries to close the distance and clinch but Gustave swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Parker throws a jab but it's blocked by Gustave.
Parker lands a high kick!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Parker is defended easily by Gustave.
Gustave throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Parker stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gustave shoots in but Parker avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gustave should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Parker drives through with a takedown into Gustave's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Gustave throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Parker is working Gustave over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Parker gets to his feet. Gustave looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

and Gustave counters with a left and a right that stings Parker.
Parker keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Blake Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dag Gustave.

Gustave has taken the fight to the clinch.
Parker jumps guard but Gustave stands there with Parker around his waist. Parker gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Gustave blocks an elbow strike from Parker.

Parker is fighting off a takedown attempt but Gustave is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Parker to the mat. Parker regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Parker has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Gustave off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

and Gustave counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gustave.

Parker breaks the clinch.

Gustave feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

No joy there for Parker, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gustave looks to land a body kick but Parker moved away.
Gustave shoots in for a takedown but Parker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Parker throws a hook but Gustave avoids it easily.
Gustave takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Parker fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Parker shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gustave eats them both and turns towards Parker to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Gustave breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Gustave changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Parker tries to avoid it but Gustave manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Parker to the ground. Parker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Parker moves in looking to clinch but Gustave pushes him off.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Parker.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gustave lands the left hand.

Gustave clinches.
Parker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gustave walks away with a smile on his face. Parker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Blake Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gustave shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Parker pinned against the cage. Parker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Parker wants to clinch.
Parker tries to clinch but Gustave moves away
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dag Gustave will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

A combination from Parker does no damage.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Parker, right into the meat.

Parker fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gustave, pushing him back against the cage.

Gustave gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Gustave is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Gustave tries for a takedown but Parker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Gustave wants to control from the top but Parker keeps moving.
Parker pulls Gustave in close to prevent any damage.

Parker pushes Gustave off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Gustave manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Parker tries to stand but Gustave is controlling from the bottom.
Gustave is pulling down on Parker's head. It's preventing any offense from Parker, at least for the moment.

Gustave wriggles free and stands up.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gustave shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Parker as he jumps to the side.

Parker is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gustave sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Parker will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Gustave up against the cage.

Parker pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Gustave has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Parker after a bit of a struggle.

Parker seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Gustave is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
