The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duplesris waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Howard.
Duplesris shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Howard as he jumps to the side.
Duplesris throws a push kick but Howard slaps the foot to one side.
Howard tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Duplesris is able to avoid easily.
Howard stuffs the takedown.
Howard pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Howard scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Howard misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Duplesris throws a series of punches but Howard moves out of range.
Howard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Howard goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Howard! Duplesris is out on his feet! Howard rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Duplesris is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Duplesris is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
