Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Escobar's entrance music is KoRn En Vivo Mtv. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pablo Escobar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tim Jacobs!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Escobar. That's going to slow Jacobs down.
Jacobs takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Jacobs tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Escobar swivels and escapes.
Escobar scores with a hook to the body. Jacobs takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A combination from Escobar does no damage.
Jacobs looks for the body kick but Escobar saw that one coming.
Jacobs takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Escobar, as that shot connected.
Escobar throws a one two combo.


It looks like Tim Jacobs has been cut.

Jacobs manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Escobar on his heels. He'll look to pass Escobar's guard now, I'm sure.
Jacobs makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Escobar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Escobar manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jacobs manages to get himself to full guard.

Escobar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Jacobs has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tim Jacobs hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Escobar feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jacobss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Escobar fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jacobs looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Jacobs tries a head kick but it misses.
Jacobs with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Escobar to score with a decent uppercut.
Jacobs takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jacobs will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jacobs needs to keep his hands up - Escobar had a free shot at his head there.
Escobar connects with a body shot that sends Jacobs's belly button to the back.
A punch lands to the side of Jacobs 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Escobar scores with a three punch combo!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Escobar ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Escobar walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jacobs checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jacobs ducks right into an uppercut from Escobar.
Jacobs fails to land the takedown.
Pablo Escobar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Jacobs.
Jacobs throws a wild body kick that Escobar sees coming a mile off.
Escobar connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Escobar throws the left hand but Jacobs avoids the punch easily.
Jacobs is still on wobbly legs! Can Escobar finish him?
Good leg kick by Escobar there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Escobar throws an overhand right that lands on Jacobs's shoulder, as Jacobs tries to avoid the shot.
Escobar lands with a big right hook that stumbles Jacobs - he's out on his feet here! Escobar follows up with another monster hook that separates Jacobs from consciousness! Jacobs falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Escobar stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Pablo Escobar!
During a confident post fight interview, Pablo Escobar thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
