Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Ehrenholm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Horton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jake Horton enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcus Ehrenholm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jake Horton! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ehrenholm closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Horton is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ehrenholm has just dragged him back down to the mat. Horton wants to get back to his feet but Ehrenholm is dominant here and he's now got Horton's back! Ehrenholm avoiding Horton 's attempts to control his hands. Ehrenholm tightening his grip on Horton, looking for the choke. Horton trying to control the hands but Ehrenholm won't let him. Horton is covering up but some of the strikes from Ehrenholm are getting through and doing damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ehrenholm looking for the choke from the back. Ehrenholm looking for the RNC. Ehrenholm working for a choke but Horton is defending well. Ehrenholm controlling well, preventing Horton from escaping the position.
Ehrenholm has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Horton's body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ehrenholm is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Ehrenholm just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Ehrenholm working for a choke but Horton is defending well. Ehrenholm cracks Horton with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Horton from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Horton trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Ehrenholm is looking for a choke. Horton gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Horton manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard. Ehrenholm has his hands on Horton's head, controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ehrenholm is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Horton looking to sit in guard and control but Ehrenholm gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Ehrenholm controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ehrenholm stands up and waves to Horton to follow him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Ehrenholm dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ehrenholm closes the distance and clinches. Ehrenholm breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ehrenholm fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Horton to the ground. Ehrenholm is now in Horton's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Horton is on top in guard.
Ehrenholm has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Horton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Horton wants to control from the top but Ehrenholm keeps moving. Ehrenholm escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Horton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horton postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Marcus Ehrenholm overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Horton throwing strikes from guard but Ehrenholm blocks nicely. Horton postures up in Ehrenholm's guard and throws a big left but Ehrenholm blocks it. Ehrenholm is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Horton is trying to stand back up but Ehrenholm is controlling him
Ehrenholm tries to pass the half guard into mount. Horton knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Ehrenholm controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ehrenholm drops an elbow to the side of Horton's head. Well, if Ehrenholm is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Horton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Horton is breathing heavily. Ehrenholm seems to be working for a kimura but Horton defends the submission attempt. Ehrenholm looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ehrenholm seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Horton for as long as he can get away with.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Marcus Ehrenholm. Horton lands a nice shot that snaps Ehrenholm's head back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ehrenholm throws an overhand right that lands on Horton's shoulder, as Horton tries to avoid the shot. Horton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ehrenholm closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Horton quickly recovers to half guard. Ehrenholm drops an elbow to the side of Horton's head. Ehrenholm looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Horton trying to control but Ehrenholm postures up.
Ehrenholm tries to stand but can't do so whilst Horton controls his leg. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ehrenholm not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Ehrenholm takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Ehrenholm dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Horton punishes Ehrenholm's body with a nice straight punch. Horton avoids the head kick by Ehrenholm.
Horton tries to close the distance and clinch but Ehrenholm swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Horton darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Ehrenholm bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Ehrenholm slows the pace down. Horton struggling a bit here. Horton on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Ehrenholm landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Horton takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ehrenholm wants to stand but Horton is controlling his arm. Ehrenholm goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Horton has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ehrenholm but great work by Horton. Ehrenholm is looking for a sweep. Ehrenholm isn't going anywhere. An elbow from Horton crashes against the mat.
Ehrenholm tries to improve position but can't. Ehrenholm on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ehrenholm tries to get out of the position. Horton creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ehrenholm sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Ehrenholm sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Ehrenholm tries to roll over but Horton keeps him under control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Ehrenholm manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Horton content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Horton trying to control but Ehrenholm is working from the bottom. Horton postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ehrenholm wants to sweep but no luck. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Horton wants to control from the top but Ehrenholm keeps moving. Horton stopping the sweep attempt from Ehrenholm. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Ehrenholm throwing rabbit punches from the bottom - showing the judges that he's keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horton wants to control from the top but Ehrenholm keeps moving. Horton preventing the sweep. Ehrenholm seems keen to control Horton's posture.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jake Horton hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Horton lands a nice shot that snaps Ehrenholm's head back.
Horton moves in looking to clinch but Ehrenholm pushes him off. Horton darts in trying to clinch and Ehrenholm counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Horton has a couple of punches blocked by Ehrenholm.

Ehrenholm landing shots from mount. Ehrenholm looking to control and managing it successfully. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ehrenholm is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Marcus Ehrenholm showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ehrenholm, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
