Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Enos Erikson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marduk Thorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thorn has chosen Rob Dougan - Clubbed to Death as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Marduk Thorn will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Enos Erikson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marduk Thorn! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Erikson blocks a head kick by Thorn.
Thorn slaps away a takedown attempt from Erikson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Erikson blocks a leg kick. Erikson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Enos Erikson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Thorn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Erikson misses with a shot to the body and Thorn counters with a good low kick that Erikson was not able to check. Nice sprawl there from Thorn as Erikson shoots in. Erikson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Thorn as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Enos Erikson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Erikson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Thorn circles away. A clash of legs there as Erikson blocks the low kick. Thorn fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Erikson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Thorn tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Erikson is in Thorn's guard. Erikson controlling from the top position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Erikson trying to control but Thorn is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thorn preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Thorn keeping moving, preventing Erikson from controlling successfully. Thorn is looking to stand up but Erikson isn't so interested in that idea. Erikson throwing strikes from guard but Thorn blocks nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Erikson wants to control from the top but Thorn keeps moving. Erikson tries to free his leg and advance position but Thorn is retaining full guard. Erikson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Thorn works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Thorn trying to control the position here.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Thorn tries to sprawl but Erikson drives through with a takedown into half guard. Erikson content to control rather than advance. Erikson is working for a kimura but Thorn is defending it quite comfortably.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Erikson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Thorn's head. Erikson thows a huge punch but Thorn dodges it nicely.
Thorn is refusing to be controlled, as Erikson sits in half guard. Erikson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Erikson throwing shots but Thorn is blocking nicely. Erikson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Thorn gets back to full guard.
Thorn is looking to stand up but Erikson isn't so interested in that idea. Erikson trying to move into half guard but instead Thorn has managed to sweep! Erikson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Thorn stacks Erikson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Thorn! Erikson wants to control but Thorn postures up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Thorn decides to stand back up. Thorn steps back and let's Erikson get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Erikson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Thorn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Erikson somewhat. Erikson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Thorn as he avoids it easily. Erikson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Thorn circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Enos Erikson. That's going to take a lot out of him. An inside leg kick lands from Thorn. Erikson closes the distance and clinches up with Thorn, looking for a takedown. Erikson pushes Thorn against the cage but Thorn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Thorn misses with a low kick. Thorn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Erikson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Thorn but Thorn pushes him off and we're back to square one. Erikson shoots in for a takedown but Thorn shows good takedown defense. Thorn doesn't manage to clinch there - Erikson circles away.

Thorn tries to work over Erikson's front leg with a kick but Erikson checks it. Thorn throws a head kick that misses. Erikson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Thorn napping and manages to drive through into side control! Erikson working the ground and pound but Thorn is defending the strikes. Thorn tries to bench press Erikson off him but Erikson keeps the position. Enos Erikson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Thorn struggling a bit here. Erikson throwing shots but missing, from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thorn seems a little lost for a moment, as Erikson dominates the positioning. Thorn is pushing Erikson's head away, looking to escape. Erikson manages to hold on to the position though. Thorn parries the strikes from Erikson easily there. Erikson is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Thorn to escape.
Thorn takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Thorn is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Erikson asserts his dominance and retains side control. Thorn taking a bit of punishment here - Erikson scoring with strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Erikson is looking to take a break and control but Thorn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Erikson landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Erikson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Erikson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Erikson moves into full mount! Thorn doing his best to control the position. Can he escape?

Thorn turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Erikson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Thorn circles away. Erikson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Thorn tries to clinch up. Erikson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Thorn to the mat! Thorn manages to get full guard. Thorn not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Erikson prevents Thorn from getting back to his feet. Thorn preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Erikson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Thorn is keeping the position for now. Erikson throws a strike but Thorn rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Thorn seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Thorn is thwarting Erikson's attempts to control the position. Erikson is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Enos Erikson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Erikson wants to control but Thorn is keeping busy.
And that's the end of the fight! Enos Erikson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Erikson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
