Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gian Dourado!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dourado fails with the takedown
letting Jiminiy counter with a right hand.
It looks like Gian Dourado has been cut.
Horrible takedown by Dourado or perhaps it was just good defense by Jiminiy which made him look bad.
Gian Dourado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jimmy Jiminiy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gian Dourado.
Dourado is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jiminiy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Dourado shoots for a double leg takedown but Jiminiy sprawls well. He's pushed Dourado's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Jiminiy counters with a nice right hand that sends Dourado toppling to the canvas! Dourado scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Jiminiy finish him?!

Jiminiy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jiminiy wants it to stay on the feet.
Dourado takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Jiminiy digs a good body shot into Dourado's ribs.
Jiminiy goes for a small jab and connects. Now Jiminiy goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Dourado stumbles back but Jiminiy runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Dourado to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Dourado will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jimmy Jiminiy!
