Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Warners (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pedro Silva looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warners shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Silva napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Silva taking punishment in the form of punches.
Warners just content to control the position.
Let's hope that Warners has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Warners tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Warners is working Silva over with some ground and pound from side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Warners's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Thomas Warners wasn't active enough on the ground.
Warners throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Warners off to one side.
Warners jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Warners moves into range and clinches up with Silva.
Silva tries to land a knee to the head but Warners blocks with his arms.

Silva gets underhooks to prevent Warners's takedown attempt.
Warners blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Warners on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Silva pushes off an throws an elbow but Warners leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Warners goes for a takedown in the clinch but Silva prevents it.
Pedro Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Warners.
Warners is leaning against Silva and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Warners drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Silva gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Silva misses with a knee strike.
Silva throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Warners jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Silva walks away with a smile on his face. Warners gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Silva tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Warners counters by clinching up.
Warners tries to throw a body punch but Silva avoids it by throwing Warners back against the cage.
Warners has had enough of the clinch but Silva keeps him there for the moment.
Silva misses with a knee to the head.
Warners avoids a wild elbow strike from Silva.
Silva throws a knee to the head but misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Warners jumps guard and drags Silva to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Warners lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Silva!
Warners mounts Silva! Really nice guard pass there!
Warners is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Silva can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Warners controlling the pace for now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Warners drives through and clinches with Silva against the cage.

Warners receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
Warners pulls Silva into guard.
Warners had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Silva defends it easily.
Warners is looking to sinch up a triangle. Silva throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Warners's body to avoid the submission. Warners has instead reached around Silva's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Warners arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
