Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiago Rua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knock takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Rua tries to clinch up.
Rua tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Knock changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rua looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rua manages to get back to half guard.
Knock wants to stand up but Rua is controlling the position.
Rua is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Rua wants to control but Knock is keeping busy.
Knock is pressing down on Rua's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rua is holding on for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Knock tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Knock is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Knock wants to stand up but Rua has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Knock looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Rua clinches.
Rua comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Knock prevents the takedown attempt.
Rua using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Rua.
Rua unloads a knee to the mid-section. Knock lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Rua pulls guard successfully.
Rua working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Knock doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Knock manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Rua has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Knock doesn't defend quickly enough and Rua has managed to lock this one up! Can Knock escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Rua on a fantastic submission victory.
