The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniel's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Daniel duly obliges.
Daniel jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Rumble shoots in for a double leg but Daniel sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Daniel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Daniel closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Rumble actively working from the bottom here.
Daniel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rumble on the ground.
Rumble is staying active underneath Daniel, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Rumble is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Daniel pulls his head out easily.

Rumble working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Daniel doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Rumble is tightening it up a little... Daniel has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Daniel reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Daniel taps out! Nice BJJ there by Rumble!
