The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turpin takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hart misses with a low kick.
Hart closes this distance looking for a takedown but Turpin circles away.
Hart throws a body kick that misses.
Hart scores with a push kick.
Hart slips a straight right by Turpin.
Turpin lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Hart misses with a kick to the body
and Turpin counters with a two punch combo.
Turpin lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hart's sensitive parts.
Turpin throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Turpin misses with an uppercut. Hart saw that one coming.

Hart gets a takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hart looks to land a strike but Turpin avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Turpin wants to sweep here but Hart controlling him for the moment.
Hart scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hart is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Turpin is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Turpin has escaped and now he's on top!

Hart is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Hart looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Hart is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Turpin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hart on the ground.

Hart is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Turpin is aware though and is defending well.

Hart has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Turpin should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Hart has tightened it up now! Turpin should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
