The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlito shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Davis as he avoids it easily.
No luck for Carlito with that takedown attempt.

Carlito darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Carlito scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

It looks like Louis Davis has been cut.
Davis should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Carlito winds up and cracks Davis with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Davis kicks Carlito off and gets back to his feet.

Carlito drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Carlito is in close to Davis's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Davis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Carlito postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Davis is looking to stand up but Carlito isn't so interested in that idea.

Carlito is in close to Davis's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Carlito lands a couple of elbows.
Carlito chips away with some ground and pound.

Davis is rocked!
Carlito will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Carlito arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Davis's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
