Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pete Ruent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eye Phone!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Ruent - that will leave a mark!
Ruent stuffs the takedown.
Phone throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ruent's waist but Ruent gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Phone off to one side.
Phone throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ruent counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Good leg kick by Ruent there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A jab lands there for Ruent.
Ruent lands a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Phone swings widly with a right hand
and Ruent cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ruent lands with a thumping leg kick.
Ruent dips to his left and cracks Phone with an uppercut!
Phone takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Phone throws a big shot that misses.
A shot to the body from Phone misses
and Ruent counters with an inside leg kick.
Phone takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Phone looks winded!
Phone throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ruent counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Phone rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ruent counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Phone thinking.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ruent connects with an inside leg kick.
Ruent connects with a solid leg kick.
Ruent lands a nice looking kick to the body. Phone takes a step back to recover.
Ruent comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nice combo by Ruent! Oh, that's hurt him - Phone falls to the canvas and Ruent follows him into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Ruent thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Phone seems a little lost for a moment, as Ruent dominates the positioning.
Ruent wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Phone, who protects the arm well.
Ruent in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ruent in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Phone is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
