Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aron Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Christmas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Christmas comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Get Up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christmas missing with a left hand there. Chan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Christmas throws the kick towards the body but Chan avoids it.
Chan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Christmas circles away.
Chan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Christmas connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Chan momentarily.
That kick from Christmas tenderised Chan's leg. Chan is trying to keep his angry face on.

Chan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Christmas manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Chan has Christmas in his guard.

Lee Christmas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Chan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Christmas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Christmas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Christmas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Aron Chan.
I think Chan has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
