Beam comes to the cage accompanied by Hollywood Undead - Everywhere I Go. Ograni has chosen Ameno - Era as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 12 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gugo Ograni!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beam scores with a head kick. Ograni tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.


It looks like Gugo Ograni has been cut.
Beam tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ograni swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jim Beam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ograni catches Beam with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Beam tries a head kick but it misses.

Ograni looking to score a takedown here. Beam is defending well but Ograni drives through and ends up in Beam's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Ograni drops back, looking for a kneebar! Beam looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Beam looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Beam!

Beam stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Ograni to get to his feet.

and Ograni counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Ograni blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Beam throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Beam wants to break free but Ograni has control.
Beam gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Beam misses with an elbow strike.
Ograni tries to stall but Beam uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Ograni pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Beam tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ograni paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Beam forces Ograni back against the cage and clinches.
Beam misses with an elbow strike.

Beam escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Ograni makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Ograni cracks a nice hook into Beam's ribs.
Ograni looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ograni takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Ograni looks for a takedown but Beam sprawls well.
Ograni shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Beam as he avoids it easily.

and Ograni connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Ograni works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Ograni counters with a left and a right... And another left! Beam is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gugo Ograni!
After winning the bout, Gugo Ograni thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
