Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Ripgut! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pepe Torres! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Ripgut is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ripgut throws a body kick that misses. Ripgut connects with a right that clearly hurt Torres. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Ripgut proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Torres collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shane Ripgut!
