Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cascara tries a head kick but it misses.
Cascara keeps the fight on the outside.
Cascara circles away from the clinch attempt

and Cascara counters with a shoot takedown. Bush fights it but they end up in guard.

Cascara throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bush stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Bush tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cascara sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bush somewhat.

Cascara clinches up with Bush and pushes him back against the cage.
Cascara throws a knee to the head but misses.
Cascara misses with a hook to the ribs.

Bush wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Bush drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Cascara gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Cascara has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bush clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Bush rolls, trying to escape but Cascara keeps control of the position.
Cascara tries to keep control of the position but Bush is staying busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bush is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Cascara off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Cascara has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Cascara is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Bush defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Cascara is trying to stick to Bush's back but Bush is turning into Cascara. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Cascara's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bush.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cascara has his foot on Bush's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bush works his way back into a safe position though.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Bush tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cascara manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bush manages to work his way to half guard, despite Cascara's best efforts.
Bush is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cascara's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cascara's back!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lionel Cascara.
Well Cascara has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
