The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirill throws a predictable looking body shot
and Phillips counters with a three punch combo that has Kirill backing up. Kirill nods at Phillips to acknowledge the strikes.
Kirill throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kirill misses with a double jab
and Phillips counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Phillips closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Phillips working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Phillips drops Kirill onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Kirill is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Kirill is rocked!
It looks like Iosif Kirill has been cut.
Phillips creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Kirill's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Kirill drops to his knees and Phillips pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
