PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lou Haggen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sven Svensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svensen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Svensen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Haggen swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Svensen feints and as Haggen raises his hands in defense, Svensen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Svensen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Haggen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Svensen is nestled in close to Haggen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Haggen is looking for a sweep. Svensen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Haggen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Svensen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Haggen has momentary wrist control but Svensen slips an elbow through the middle.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Svensen stands and throws Haggen's legs to the side, diving into side control.
