6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Connor Jackson! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Harris. Harris sends Jackson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Harris is motioning to the referee to let Jackson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Jackson is rocked! Harris misses with a straight right. Jackson is still on wobbly legs! Can Harris finish him? Harris misses the jab. A punch combination from Harris misses. Harris scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Harris misses with a jab, cross combination.

Harris misses with a hook. Jackson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Harris throws out the jab. Harris stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Harris misses with a looping right. Harris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jackson moves away. Jackson slips under a jab from Harris. Harris drops Jackson with a beautiful combination! Jackson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Harris is looking for the KO! Harris is breathing heavily. Jackson drives through with a takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jackson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Harris is keeping the position for now. Harris wants to get back to his feet but Jackson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson passes easily into side control. Nice work. Jackson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Harris keeps working. Jackson working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Jackson seems to have recovered his senses. Jackson tries to move into full mount but can't pass Harris's legs. Jackson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Harris is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Jackson working the ground and pound from side control. Jackson is trying to land an Americana. Harris seems comfortable defending it but Jackson has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Harris is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Harris is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Jackson couldn't care less - he's delighted!
