These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Monroe is stalling here. Yusura is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Monroe seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Yusura has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Monroe tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Yusura presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

It looks like Stacey Monroe has been cut.
Monroe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yusura. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Monroe stops Yusura from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Yusura wants to finish this one by submission but Monroe is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Yusura.
